Nasty little critters
The start of a new week and I’m delighted to have a ‘nit-free’ family. I realise this is probably too much information but the little blighters are SO tedious to get rid of and don’t exactly help you make friends and influence people… We had a meeting with Myleene Klass last week and she has the most beautiful long flowing hair, I do so hope she doesn’t have nits now. I’m consoling myself with the fact it’s an old wives tale they jump from head to head.
We wrote and recorded 2 songs for a new Decca artist last week, Mary Jess. Such a very nice girl, no airs and graces and a beautiful voice to boot. She went to China to study as part of her University degree and ended up winning the Chinese version of X Factor! Quite a story. Her album should be out early next year for Chinese New Year and hopefully our songs will make it onto the final tracklisting (also gives her plenty of time to be nit free after working with us – more lovely long hair, oh dear).

Aaaarrrgh!!..I have not stopped scratching since I read that! If Ms Klass needs help with the nit comb should she succumb…let me know

Old wives….they are not always wrong??….
I will be in the audience at Kilworth on Saturday 24th – wearing a hat!

They do seem very tedious to get rid of, don’t they? Glad you are all clear now (must resist this urge to scratch!)
Hope you are successful with getting your songs on the CD for the new artist.

oh gosh nits! they were thebane of my life at school!
off to Minnesota tomorrow! I’ve been getting lots of singing practise in as everywhere we go the family wants me to sing to people! I sang in the pub the other evening so their friends could hear me and some guys sitting at another table bought me a piece of chocolate cake as they enjoyed it so much!
hehe
Sounds like you’re busy as usual!
I’, having a great time in the USA

How fantastic. Brilliant experience for you to have to sing with no notice and worth it for choccy cake. Hope results come in positive from your GCSE’s – sure you’ll do brilliantly.

NITS!! I was mortified when I got the things when mine were little…just the thought has me have a quick scratch, pleased you are all nitless now,not seen it in the gossip columns Myleene has nits no doubt it would have been reported hee hee.
I see you are singing at Salford Prom in sept once again its on their site along with Jon Christos and John Barrowman, and I think Jenny Williams will be there too.
I`ve been to the last two proms events there and they were so good,I booked up weeks ago for this one and I know it will be as good an evening as the last two have been.
Hope your concert is a success on the 24th,I wil be watching Jon Christos at a proms event the very same evening.

Hi Juliette,
Just to say I love Mary Jess Leaverland and think it’s really cool you wrote songs for her and really hope they make the album because I love the songs you and James wrote for your album Venezia. By the way I love Danielle De Niese and love the songs on her new album, too! I’m already very excited about Mary Jess’s album!
